Marco Corridoni presents a unique original mixed media artwork titled FIXED - reversible - final chapter (2026), idropittura on canvas with leather and metal, 40 × 30 cm in blue, signed by hand, edition 21/25, sold directly by the artist, with a photographic certificate included.
Description from the seller
FIXED - reversible (2026)
#21/25
idropaint on canvas, leather, metal
40x30cm
ONE-OF-A-KIND and ORIGINAL work
Work number 21 of the final series (only 4 more works will be created).
Special edition "reversible".
The artist draws on Lucio Fontana's spatial concepts to rewrite the history of art, through a manipulation of his artistic poetics, suspended between quotation and desecration.
The cuts are re-sewn, symbolically, to shorten space rather than "open" it.
Expectations are disappointed, almost as a protest against a way of making and selling art that has little or nothing to do with originality and the essence of art itself.
The canvases are prepared in Fontana's manner and the cuts, rigorously made by the artist by hand, reproduce those of the most famous works.
Each cut is fixed with a black backing canvas, just as documented by Lucio Fontana: this gives stability to the work and an exquisite aesthetic effect.
Work signed on the back
Photographic certification included
Frame available separately.
