Description from the seller
Fascinating advertising poster dedicated to Franzini American Soda, featuring a highly impactful visual composition: on a black background a curious fantastical red figure stands out, depicted in motion with a bottle balanced on its back.
The graphics, ironic and surreal, are completed by the large inscriptions “Franzini 1890” and “American Soda.” In the upper right corner is the illustrator’s signature, probably legible as G. Franchi. The bottom typographic inscription reports the authorization of March 6, 1939 and the Grafiche Ambrosiane printing house of Milan.
An interesting testimony of Italian advertising graphics, ideal for collectors of posters, vintage reclame, historic beverages and Italian design.
The specimen shows normal signs and creases compatible with age and preservation, as visible in the photographs.
Note: this is a later edition, probably from the 1970s.
