Rare pair of decorative Giuseppe Armani table lamps – Florence, Italy, 1982.
Very beautiful matching pair depicting a young boy carrying a basket of grapes and a young girl carrying a basket of fruit.
The characters are finely molded and painted in soft tones, with great attention to detail, especially in the faces, clothing and fruit baskets.
The sculptures bear the signature G. Armani, the marking 1982 FLORENCE as well as the blue crowned N logo.
Each sculpture is mounted on an elegant varnished wooden base, equipped with a gold metal arm supporting the lampshade. The two lamps have matching classic-style lampshades, decorated with a long ivory-colored fringe.
