Whisky Sponge Edition 45 is a 2017 barrel of Bimber. Not only our first bottling from these London scallywags
but also our very first 'finished' Sponge.

This cask was distilled in 2017 and bottled at 4 years of age, with a final 10 month period of finishing in a Bimber
ex-bourbon barrel which had subsequently been used to age a Brew By Numbers imperial stout.

The result is this extremely juicy, feisty and charismatic dram. A big muddle of various funky influences that include,
but are not limited to: proper floor malted barley, interesting yeasty fermentation stuff, 'warmer than Scotland'
climate maturation and big punchy Stout cask fingerprints.
