The chessboard is crafted from a single monolithic block of precious solid marble. It is not laminated or veneered wood, but genuine natural stone with an imposing weight of about 15 kg. The surface features unique veining and mineral shades that attest to the absolute authenticity of the material.

The overall style and color palette are explicitly inspired by the famous "Oxford Ash Burl Chess Set" (Atlantic line). Compared to the original lacquered wood model, this version elevates the original design, transforming it into an eternal stone work, perfectly recalling those iconic tones of gray, graphite, and warm hues.

The pieces are finely carved with clean, elongated, and geometric lines, typical of the modern Staunton style revisited. Made of resin, they offer a perfect contrast between the dark set and the light set.
