Description from the seller
Greek icon of the Madonna and Child, produced in the 1990s according to Byzantine tradition.
Painted entirely by hand on a wooden panel, with a rich gilded background and vivid color.
Very beautiful is the painterly quality of the faces and the intensity of the colors, enhanced by the patina of the background.
On the back it bears the original tag, attesting to manual execution with traditional technique and provenance from Greece.
Authentic decorative piece, in good condition, with minimal signs of wear. Measures 21x17 cm.
Proper packaging and fast shipping.
