Stem bowl - Porcelain - Imari porcelain bowl

Superb Japanese Imari porcelain bowl, richly decorated in traditional tones of cobalt blue, iron red, and gold highlights. The mount in finely chiseled gilt bronze, with openwork decoration and stylized zoomorphic handles, gives the whole piece a very decorative elegance inspired by Napoléon III.
The decoration features floral reserves and a central stylized vase, typical of Imari productions intended for export at the end of the 19th century. Very decorative presence.
