Figurative Sculpture "Penguin" in Czech Artistic Glass – Mid-Century Modern Style (1960s).
Elegant and sophisticated figurative sculpture representing a penguin, a genuine example of the acclaimed Czechoslovak modernist design (Brusel Style), circa 1960. The piece stands out for its slender organic body and exquisite hot-working craftsmanship, displaying a beautiful color contrast: back and wings in deep matte black-gray glass, belly in pristine milky white glass, and a translucent base in a yellowish/honey tone that creates excellent refraction effects under direct lighting.
It retains at the base the original triangular seal in green metallized paper, with the inscriptions "RAVSKO / MADE IN CZECHOSLOVAKIA / ŽNK", guaranteeing its absolute vintage provenance and rarity of the label’s preservation.
Very good vintage preservation condition, with no chips, cracks, or restorations. The seal shows slight natural wear due to age.
