Antique mother-of-pearl First Communion set:

* An antique First Communion set: a nice prayer book + a nice wallet, with a mother-of-pearl (nacre) coating, presented in a padded case.

* Material: mother-of-pearl with central silver medallions, featuring an image of Saint Therese.

* Contents: a small prayer and missal book, called 'Paroissien Romain' from 1931 with French text and a matching small wallet in the same style, characteristic of religious souvenirs from the first half of the 20th century. The book has gilding on the edge.

* A 'Paroissien Romain' is a traditional Catholic prayer- and missal book, formerly used in the Roman Catholic Church to follow the services.

* Presentation: white velvet box with a cream-colored velvet interior. The mother-of-pearl of both objects is adorned with gilded bands and floral motifs. There are mold spores.

* Ideal for collectors of prayer books and collectors of objects related to Saint Therese of Lisieux.
