Description from the seller
Certina Bristol 190 – 1967 – Cal. 25‑66 – Ref. 5202‑190‑05 – Hand-winder
A beautifully preserved Certina Bristol 190 from 1967, equipped with the beloved and reliable Certina 25‑66 hand-wound caliber. This example is fully authentic, with a matching reference (5202‑190‑05) and a serial number that exactly corresponds to the production year.
The dial is in excellent vintage condition, with sharp indices, original typography and the classic T SWISS MADE T at the bottom of the dial. The case shows a beautiful, uniform sheen and is exceptionally well-preserved for a chrome-plated model from the 1960s. The photos show clear details of the case, crown and bracelet, including a wrist-shot that emphasizes the elegant wearability of this model.
The movement is visible in the photos and bears the characteristic Certina finish:
“CERTINA 25‑66 – 17 JEWELS – SWISS”.
The inside of the caseback bears the original factory engraving:
“CERTINA SWISS – FOND ACIER INOXYDABLE”.
This is a watch that appeals to both collectors and enthusiasts of mechanical vintage timepieces.
Authentic 1960s look – slim case, minimalist dial, classic indices.
Chrome-plated case in nice condition – a typical hallmark of the Bristol line, rarely so well preserved.
Swiss quality – Certina is known for its solid construction and precise movements.
