Skepa is a French artist born in 1978, a painter and sculptor, and co-founder of the BAFO movement.
A graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Lyon, he began his artistic practice with graffiti alongside Jone Hopper in the early 1990s.
His work is rooted in a free and instinctive approach, nourished by urban culture and contemporary plastic arts research.
Over the years, his painting has evolved toward a rawer, more expressive language, blending abstraction, free figuration, and the energy of gesture.
