Initial title on the first page. Binding in brown embossed cardboard, presumably later. Label with an engraved numeral not identified; handwritten attribution in pencil. Some stains and signs of wear visible, interior clearly legible.

Reprint of an epistle presented to Louis XV in 1716, which applies to the young king the sestain 48 attributed to Nostradamus. The last page bears the printed signature of Bélier de Saint-Brisson, the permissions of 1716 and 1744, then the Prault père address dated 1744. The piece pertains to Nostradamus’s political reception in the eighteenth century.
