2 blue-white Japanese cup and saucers – Japan- early 18th Century
On offer are 2 Japanese early 18th Century cup and saucers decorated in blue and white, with flower branches and flower leaves. Both cups and saucers are unmarked. Well-known are the Japanese Imari version of cup and saucers, but Japanese cups and saucers in the blue-white palette are rare! Provenance: From a deceased Dutch collector.
Date: Edo period, beginning of the 18th Century ca. 1700-1720.
Size: Cups measure ca. 5,5 cm across. Saucers measure ca. 9,5 cm across.
Condition: (very) good. Both cups in very good condition without damage! The saucers have some clean sealed (short) hairlines and minor glaze (rim) frit, please see pictures.
Will be packed very well and shipped with registered track/trace with insurance. Combined shipping possible, we return postage costs.
