Description from the seller
Fascinating manifesto dedicated to Austria's participation in the 1900 Paris World’s Fair, executed from the design of the famous artist Alphonse Mucha.
The composition presents elegant female figures, refined floral decorations, and views of the main Austrian pavilions, in the characteristic Art Nouveau and Jugendstil language of the artist.
An image of great historical and decorative charm, ideal for collectors of posters, advertising graphics, World’s Fairs, the Vienna Secession, and works inspired by the Belle Époque.
The item shows some signs and undulations consistent with its age, clearly visible in the photographs, which are an integral part of the description.
Note: this is a later edition, probably from the 1970s.
