A magnificent and prestigious collector's silver pill/snuff box, masterfully handcrafted by the renowned Florentine silversmith Renato Salimbeni during the 20th century. This exquisite piece showcases the pinnacle of Italian boutique goldsmithing, featuring a captivating translucent plum/burgundy guilloché enamel lid that creates brilliant light reflections. The enamel is elegantly framed by a highly detailed, hand-chased and embossed silver border, and centered with a striking stylized classical medallion. Salimbeni's creations are highly coveted and prominently featured in elite global auction houses and luxury international galleries. A true masterpiece of "pocket luxury" designed for the most discerning cabinet of curiosities (Wunderkammer). [Technical Specifications & Condition]Artistic Quality: Exceptional museum-grade craftsmanship. The inner rim is clearly and fully stamped with Salimbeni's official maker's marks, including the "925" oval hallmark guaranteeing maximum sterling silver purity, and the iconic "S" monogram. Condition Details: The box is preserved in excellent and flawless vintage condition. The silver body has a bright luster and original age patina.
