Description from the seller
Marvelous Girl Series
Edition limited to 8 copies + 4 AP (artist proofs) - Aluminium support (printing on white vinyl laminated to 2 aluminium plates, back attachment, and a flexible front laminate anti-UV and humidity). Certificate of authenticity
F2B studied brilliantly at the École Supérieure des Arts Appliqués Duperré in Paris. Artistic Director, then Creative Director in an agency, F2B finds all inspiration in brand identity. Free in his Art from any advertising constraint, F2B takes pleasure in associating and repurposing logotypes, icons and other mass-market emblems.
Two fundamental elements will guide his creations: the use of the female body in advertising to sell, and the force that logos wield in our urban environment. He creates, through this association of ideas, the “BrandBabes,” a kind of PinUp where logos dress the bodies of women. With the Marvelous Girl series, this time it is the “Superheroes” who envelop the female silhouettes, thus creating new heroines.
