A deep, uniform ultramarine blue occupies the entire surface, worked in minute touches that give it a soft, continuous vibrancy. At the center gathers a bloom of red and garnet poppies, dense and tactile, radiating outward and thinning into small suspended points. A few barely hinted stems descend downward, very light, almost an shadow on the bottom.
