An olive-golden green fills the entire surface, bright and vibrant at the center, darker and brownish toward the upper edge. On this background grows a field of pink, coral and magenta flowers, borne by slender, long stems that rise from below with lightness. The bloom is distributed generously, alternating light petals and deeper accents, almost garnet. The substance is dense and moving, built from quick touches that recreate the rustle of tall grass. The light seems to come from inside the field and to diffuse outward. A warm and serene work, that conveys the fullness of a meadow in flower in the afternoon light.
