**Pair of vintage devotional paintings handmade with embroidered floral frames**
Two coordinated paintings dedicated to Jesus and the Madonna, presumably from the mid-20th century (1940s–1960s). The inscriptions and decorative scrolls on the light background are entirely hand-embroidered with colored and gold threads. In the center of each painting is a raised portrait, enclosed in a small ivory-colored frame with painted flowers and gold details.
The painting with Jesus bears the phrase «Nella necessità tua confida in Dio»; the Madonna one «O benedetta Maria, il nostro aiuto riposa in te».
