I am a visual artist based in Spain and KromaTiK is my alter ego.
The name KromaTik, or Kroma, as my friends usually call me, refers to the use of color as an artistic act.
Nobody knows who I am or how old I am; I prefer to keep myself anonymous. I have no website or social networks because I like to devote my time to the studio, working on my painting.
I have a degree in Fine Arts and I have exhibited in cities such as Barcelona and Madrid, and I have experience in urban art, installation, and mural painting. I have received various awards and mentions and my works are all over the world.
Before studying Fine Arts, I came from the world of mathematics and physics, so topics like the cosmos and the universe, science, and human and universal connections interest me a lot.
I like to work with abstract art because it forces me to paint without paying too much attention to what appears on the canvas, accepting and embracing the accident. It is gestural and intuitive painting trying to connect with my most primitive and authentic self. I tend to work in series, which helps me organize emotions and feelings.
Movies like "Contact" or "Interstellar" inspire me and directly influence my painting with their aesthetics and their vision of dystopian futures that fuel my imagination. Others too, like "Kill Bill."
I enjoy creating connections with my clients; I believe it is the way to close the circle between artist and collector, where the energy of the collective is transformed and gives meaning to the act of creation.
This work explores human and universal connections through the dance of brushstrokes, textures, and colors, creating a vital flow. The Dialogue of Humanity with Nature manifests in a deep connection, harmony and cosmic chaos between the human being and everything around us.
Technique: Mixed media: acrylic, spray. There are no prints.
The indicated measurements are those of the canvas. When stretched on a frame, the mounting dimensions will be smaller.

I use intense colors as a personal language, organic shapes full of life that have the ability to envelop you with positivity and reflection.
It may seem frivolous or naive, but using color to express yourself in these times is an act of rebellion.
