Description from the seller
An exceptional collectible for connoisseurs of Western esotericism and occultism.
For auction is a rare first edition of “The Qabalah of Aleister Crowley: Three Texts,” published in 1973 by Samuel Weiser (New York). This highly sought-after volume gathers Crowley’s most important Kabbalistic writings — including Gematria, Liber 777, and Sepher Sephiroth — augmented by a comprehensive introduction by his former secretary and renowned occultist Israel Regardie.
The dust jacket is present and intact, which is notoriously scarce (scarce), as many copies were used intensively as study books. The binding is firm and straight. The linen hardcover is clean with a shiny gold foil on the book’s back. The pages are clean, firm and completely free from annotations, highlighters, or library stamps. No foxing. Overall condition is very good to excellent (see photos for exact visual details).
A cornerstone for any serious library devoted to Thelema, the Golden Dawn, or 20th-century ceremonial magic.
