Decorative Dutch grand windmill lamp serving as ambient light or night lamp, made of white glazed earthenware with cobalt blue decoration in the Delft blue tradition.
The piece is entirely hand-decorated with Dutch floral motifs. The body of the windmill has several lattice openings representing windows and the door. When a bulb is installed inside, the light filters through these openings and illuminates the windmill from within, creating a very beautiful decorative effect.
The windmill features its four large ceramic/earthenware sails, also decorated in blue and white. They are joined on a central axis and can be manually rotated.
