Magnificent vintage Hermès silk scarf titled "Le pavé du Roy", designed by the artist Hugo Grygkar in 1953. This is the newer edition.
Hand-rolled.
Made in France.
Hermès Paris logo, copyright C.
Presence of a composition label.
According to Arfon's Dictionary of Art Squares, it is considered fairly rare and fairly sought after (photo attached).
"The same statue as Grygkar's statue is located at the entrance of the Château de Versailles. The bronze statue is made up of two distinct elements: the horse and King Louis XV."
Vintage overall good condition despite some minor signs of wear (last photos).
Will be carefully packaged and shipped with tracking number.
