Morino Hiroaki Taimei 森野泰明 (1934–)
Kyoto ceramicist. Son of potter Morino Kako (1879–1987). Trained at Kyoto University of Arts. Taught ceramics at the University of Chicago in the 1960s. His works are in the collection of the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art (Cornell University) and in several public collections in Japan and the United States. A major figure in contemporary Japanese ceramics, known for his restrained forms and abstract decoration.
