MARTE (M. Arturo) is a Spanish artist born in 1990, dedicated to painting and sculpture with an abstract and landscape-oriented approach. Their works are widely known within the national expert circle. They trained at the School of Art and Design of Alicante, where they developed a solid technical foundation in classical disciplines. They have exhibited their work in galleries both in Spain (Galería Alba in Valencia, Ateneo de Bilbao, Centro de Arte de Salamanca) and abroad (Lisbon, Brussels, Bogotá), gaining recognition within private collecting circles. They currently live and work between their hometown and an artistic residency in northern Spain.

The influences in terms of trends and artistic movements are varied, ranging from classical and modern to contemporary art, taking influence first from abstract art, as well as conceptual art, along with impressionism, expressionism, surrealism, cubism and landscape or classical landscape, with certain touches of romanticism and realism. On the other hand, multiple artists have influenced the formation of their work, such as Pablo Picasso, Mark Rothko, M. Spiewak, Salvador Dalí, Dam Domido, Joan Miró, Ivanka Matiss, Henri Matisse, Some more contemporary than others but always learning from the mastery and sensitivity of other artists, among which may also be: V. Kandinsky, Renoir, N. Correa, Wilfredo Lam, La Nord, Max Ernest, Ester Reut, P. Gaugin, Giogia, Sven Pels, A.
