CHANEL x Karl Lagerfeld (2009) – Rare Complete Folder "5th Anniversary Ginza Tokyo" with Original Art Serigraphy – Limited Edition

Up for auction an exclusive and hard-to-find CHANEL-signed collectible folder, designed in 2009 by the legendary Creative Director Karl Lagerfeld.

This commemorative set was printed in an extremely limited run and not intended for retail sale (reserved exclusively as a VIP and media gift) on the occasion of the 5th anniversary of CHANEL's Ginza building in Tokyo, designed by architect Peter Marino.

The lot is complete with all of its original parts and includes:

1. Exterior Case: Original protective folder with the stylish "Tokyo" lettering printed on the front in a two-tone graphic style (black and red) and a contoured closure on the back.

2. Internal Institutional Panel: Contains the presentation and history of the prestigious Asian boutique, printed in two languages: French at the top and Japanese at the bottom.

3. The Original Art Serigraphy: A splendid authorial print depicting Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi for Interview magazine with a geometrically structured dress from the CHANEL Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2009 collection.

The artwork has been photographed, developed, and plate-signed by Karl Lagerfeld (signature at the bottom right). The print features uncropped edges and is produced on premium heavyweight fine art paper.

• Condition: Excellent. The inner serigraphy is in impeccable condition, reminiscent of Roy Lichtenstein's pop art with vivid colors and defect-free paper. Inner protective folder is perfect; the outer folder shows only very light and normal signs of storage and aging, as visible in the photos.
