The Grand Départ of the Tour de France 2024 was particularly significant because, for the first time in the history of the Grande Boucle, the start took place in Italy. The first stage started from Florence on June 29, 2024; the route then crossed Emilia-Romagna and Piedmont, with the finish of the third stage in Turin.

The banner features the Tour de France graphics and the wording:
