Description from the seller
Splendid original vintage drapery from the 1980s by Manifattura Varetto, an Italian furniture production whose charm is now hard to find, characterized by a natural-looking weave and extraordinary visual lightness.
The true protagonist of this fabric is the color: a refined sequence of vertical stripes in delicate, luminous tones, where sky blue and sugar-paper blue alternate with periwinkle/lilac powder and ivory, creating a fresh, elegant, and particularly harmonious whole.
The linen-blend weave, intentionally visible and slightly irregular, gives the fabric that tactile, textural look typical of quality workmanship. The weave is lightweight and lets light filter through pleasantly: once hung, the pattern gains depth and the varying tones seem to blend and shift slightly with the lighting.
The vertical stripes visually elongate the drapery, making it an ideal solution for both contemporary spaces and vintage, coastal, Mediterranean, or country-chic interiors. Beautiful for large windows, glass doors, full-height curtains, but also interesting for decorative projects and interior design.
Particularly notable is the large size, a generous 7.10 meters long by 3.30 meters high, which allows you to create a dramatic pair of curtains while maintaining an ample amount of fabric.
Dimensions: approx. 710 × 330 cm
Total weight: approx. 2,400 grams
Composition: linen blend
Manufacture: Varetto
Era: 1980s – Italian vintage
A fabric that does not aim for opulence, but for light, color, and natural elegance: over 23 m² of authentic Italian vintage upholstery textile, in a pastel palette I find truly successful.
