Xiaoyang Galas is a Chinese artist living and working in France. She studied Fine Art (Painting) and holds an MA in Chinese Art History and Art Criticism from Sichuan Academy of Arts, China.
In his paintings, Xiaoyang seeks to bring East and West together. His technique, using a mixture of acrylic, oil, collages mixing fabrics, papers, textures, can give an impression of jumble. The artist also uses writing: Chinese, French and English characters, and lyrics used in the Holy Bible.
