Islamic manuscript, Quran text, Ottoman, Qajar, orientalist - Qajar dynasty (1796–1925)

Very beautiful large Islamic manuscript, made on a red Yemeni agate slab.

The text is handwritten by a master calligrapher, either Ottoman or from the late Qajar period.

Red Yemeni agate is a stone particularly sought after among collectors of stones and antique agate objects, especially for its deep color and its natural nuances.

A rare and decorative piece, uniting Islamic calligraphy with the natural beauty of red agate.
