AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Set of 6 volumes of the Franquin Rombaldi 'Integral' – Gaston 1 to 5 + Modeste et Pompon
Magnificent collection of 6 volumes of the 'Integral Franquin' from Rombaldi editions, comprising the five volumes dedicated to Gaston Lagaffe, followed by the volume dedicated to Modeste et Pompon.
A very beautiful collection dedicated to the works of one of the great masters of Franco-Belgian comics, André Franquin, creator of Gaston Lagaffe, a major author of Spirou et Fantasio and the illustrator of Modeste et Pompon.
The six works feature the superb finish characteristic of this Rombaldi collection: dark blue hard cover with a faux-leather look, gilded borders and decor, characters in color inset on the covers and richly decorated spines.
These are library-quality volumes, particularly elegant, much more imposing than the classic Dupuis albums.
