Description from the seller
Mixed Burgundy Lot – Savigny-lès-Beaune – 2 Bottles
An attractive mixed lot of two sought-after Burgundy Pinot Noirs from Savigny-lès-Beaune, bringing together two small-production domaines with very different expressions of the appellation.
1 bottle – Jérémy Recchione – Savigny 1er Cru “Les Lavières” 2022
Savigny-lès-Beaune Premier Cru AOC – Burgundy, France
100% Pinot Noir – 13% vol. – 75 cl
A particularly scarce cuvée from Jérémy Recchione. The back label states a total production of only 792 bottles and 6 magnums. The grapes were harvested on 29 August 2022 and the wine was bottled on 1 September 2023.
Les Lavières is one of the recognised Premier Cru vineyards of Savigny-lès-Beaune. For this 2022, the wine was reportedly vinified with around 70% whole bunches in stainless steel, followed by approximately 11 months of barrel ageing.
The scarcity of this wine is worth highlighting: only 792 bottles were produced, a figure also confirmed by specialist merchants.
1 bottle – Domaine de Chassorney – Savigny-lès-Beaune “Les Gollardes” 2024
Savigny-lès-Beaune AOC – Burgundy, France
100% Pinot Noir – 13% vol. – 75 cl
Les Gollardes is produced by Domaine de Chassorney, the Saint-Romain estate historically associated with Frédéric Cossard and now continued under Aurélien Verdet. The domaine is known for organic-minded viticulture and natural vinification, with restrained sulphur use.
The 2024 Les Gollardes is a youthful, elegant expression of Pinot Noir from the Côte de Beaune, combining fresh red-fruit character with the finesse and drinkability associated with the domaine.
Lot highlights:
• 2 bottles × 75 cl
• Both wines: Pinot Noir
• Burgundy – Côte de Beaune – Savigny-lès-Beaune
• One Premier Cru and one village Savigny-lès-Beaune
• Extremely limited production of 792 bottles for the Recchione Les Lavières 2022
• Bottles, labels and closures in excellent condition, as shown in the photographs
• Always stored carefully under proper cellar conditions
• Securely packed for shipping in specialised wine packaging
A very interesting lot for Burgundy enthusiasts, combining the rare micro-production Jérémy Recchione Savigny 1er Cru Les Lavières 2022 with Domaine de Chassorney Les Gollardes 2024.
