Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through an interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has evolved into a passion that had to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the appropriation of everyday contemporary goods.
His creativity expresses itself through bold staging of icons of popular consumer culture (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already fuzzy boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending paint with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration from, among others, Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addictions in general.
