Large Mc Caviar Bordeaux cone with its mother-of-pearl spoon

Original sculpture designed, molded and finished by hand by the artist XTC using resins and acrylic paints and varnishes.
It is painted with red/burgundy and metallic gold paint. It stands about 19 cm tall, weighs about 1 kg, on a plexiglass / perspex (PMMA) base measuring 15 x 10 cm and 15 mm thick.
Designed and crafted in molded resin, fully painted and varnished. Naturally filled with caviar of my making with its genuine mother-of-pearl spoon.

This design will be produced in only 8 copies and 4 APs.

Born in 1978, XTC ( Instagram : XTC.Artist ) has shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration has evolved into a passion that needed to be realized. XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods. His creativity is expressed through the bold staging of icons of popular consumer culture (like McDonald's, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds. He expresses his art through sculpture, combining painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals. He is inspired among others by Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey and advertising and addictions in general.
