Description from the seller
Jacques Necker (1732-1804). Works of Mr. Necker. London, Thomas Hookham, 1785, 908 pp. and 2 folding maps
A quarto volume (270x210 mm), full calf, triple gilt border on the boards, spine with raised bands ornamented, red morocco title label, marbled edges (binding of the period). Wear and rubbing on the boards and spine, joints cracked but overall sound. Interior fresh, no foxing.
First collective edition of Jacques Necker’s works; well complete with the folding table and the two hand-coloured maps
The volume gathers three texts: The Report to the King, the Memoir on the Establishment of Provincial Administrations, and On the Administration of the Finances of France.
