Description from the seller

Splendid and iconic advertising poster from the early 1900s, a true masterpiece of French vintage graphics signed by the famous illustrator and caricaturist Mich (pseudonym of Michel Liebeaux) for the historic Hutchinson brand.
The work perfectly embodies the wit and humorous style of the Belle Époque: it depicts a friendly cyclist with a top hat and polka-dot suit pedaling with a smile, carrying on his shoulders an enormous bicycle tire, accompanied by his faithful little dog in the front basket. The slogan Plus solide que l’Acier (Stronger than steel) humorously underscores the legendary durability of Hutchinson tires, a company founded in the mid-19th century that has written the history of world cycling.
This poster is not only a collectible for bicycle history lovers, but a refined decorative element with a strong visual impact, characterized by a deep cobalt blue background and incredibly vivid colors that immediately catch the eye.
Overall excellent condition, vibrant colors, minimal signs of aging on the edges as visible in the photo.
An unmissable opportunity to enrich a poster collection or to give a touch of retro elegance and character to a modern environment, an office or a bicycle shop.
