Print run of 160 numbered copies on Rives pure rag vellum.
In loose sheets with illustrated and deckle-edged cover, slipcase and case.
Work illustrated with 35 engravings by Marianne Clouzot.
One of the 30 numbered copies consisting of a suite of 23 trial etchings on French Japanese paper and an ORIGINAL, this one no. 30, enriched with an autograph inscription by the artist on the half-title page: “To the tireless researcher Pierre Marteau who is well near to having my complete works [signature].”
Beginning of a split at the edges of the case, otherwise a beautiful copy.
