Giuseppe Perrone
Born on June 29, 1981 in Polistena (RC), he paints and lives in Taurianova (RC). As a child he began to familiarize himself with drawing tools, but following his father's footsteps, in 1999 he earned a diploma in surveying. In 2003 he began painting and in 2004 he decided to enroll at the Academy of Fine Arts of Reggio Calabria, but after almost a year he left the course due to his father’s poor health. He worked in the family’s technical studio as a surveyor until 2006, when, after his father’s death, he decided to devote himself completely to painting. He blends a passion for Japanese comics, admiration for Keith Haring’s graffiti, and a total love for Edward Hopper’s work.
