Description from the seller

Unique artwork, Acrylic on canvas, 80 x 80 cm, Certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.

"The magical room" is the representation of an enchanted place, extraordinary, where anything can happen, where ideas take shape and develop in unexpected ways. A place of fantasy, where memories of the past resurface and are revived in fragmented form, or where new elements arise from our desires and dreams. A container of space made of emotions, ideas, images, thoughts, behind which the truths of the soul are hidden.

Exhibited at the Vernissage "Salon d’Estate" 2025 at the Barattolo Gallery in Rome.
In collaboration with Tait Gallery of Turin, the work was also exhibited at the Modern and Contemporary Art Fair held at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Pavia in April 2026.

Barbara Meduri, architect and contemporary artist.
Her works, defined as “Compositions, Illustrated Reflections,” are configured as true visual reasonings; elaborations in which thoughts, ideas and suggestions translate into images through a personal, surreal and immediately recognizable language.
Her production includes both digital works and painting, united by the same compositional sensibility and oriented toward a continuous dialogue between artistic tradition and contemporary languages.
The versatility of acrylic and the possibility to intervene through layers, overlays and chromatic contrasts allow her to build images suspended between reality and imagination.
In her works, utopia and reality overlap in a kind of dissolving, meeting in places suspended and extraordinary, where elements drawn from the worlds of architecture, art, music, fairy tales and literature dialogue with each other, giving rise to surreal visual constructions.
In recent years she has begun presenting her artistic research in various Italian exhibition contexts, participating in group shows and reviews dedicated to contemporary art. Among the most recent experiences are participation in PAVIART 2026 at the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Pavia, in collaboration with the Tait Gallery of Turin, and at the vernissages “Salon d’Automne” and “Salon d’Estate” at the Barattolo Gallery in Rome.
Her path continues through a personal, evolving research, where architecture, imagination and memory meet to shape new visual narratives.
