Description:
A atmospheric, tender and expressive original oil painting by the renowned Belgian master Hermann Courtens (1884–1956). This work shows a beautiful, almost faded bouquet of roses in a green vase, set in a warm color palette and a sumptuous realism with a precise, impressionistic touch. The work is clearly signed bottom left with the hand-written inscription "Hermann Courtens". The painting is supplied with the original, elegant gold-coloured ornate frame, which is in exceptionally beautiful condition.
