Van Herkel (XX) - Coppia di nature morte floreali

Pair of oval floral still lifes by Van Herkel (born 1900), oil on wood fiber panel.

The two works depict rich floral compositions, characterized by a decorative rendering, with numerous details and gilded accents on the painting surface. Both are signed “Van Herkel” at the bottom of the composition.

The works are accompanied by an original Certifié de Garantie from Maison d’Art Tiziano, which attributes the execution to the Flemish painter Van Herkel, born in 1900 in southern Belgium. The certificate also specifies that the artist drew colors and subjects from the famous masters of the 17th century. The original document is included in the lot and is shown in the photographs.
