Sergio Zampieri, L’arpista, oil and metallic acrylic on canvas, abstract figurative original in 80 × 60 cm, hand-signed and dated 2026, from Italy with certificate of authenticity, sold directly from the artist’s studio in Rome.
Description from the seller
Beautiful original unpublished painting by contemporary painter Sergio Zampieri (Rome, 1968).
The Harpist
Oil and metallic acrylic pastes on canvas
Collection: "The Musicians"
In “The Harpist”, the female figure and the instrument seem to emerge from a single pictorial material, in a continuous dialogue between body, music and movement. The harp, luminous and monumental, becomes the focal point of the composition, while the delicate gesture of the hands introduces an intimate and suspended dimension.
Particularly effective is the contrast between the warm sensuality of the flesh tones and coppery hues and the colder, deeper masses that cross the background and the drapery. The metallic acrylic pastes capture real light and render the surface mutable, almost vibrating, transforming matter itself into a metaphor of sound.
The face hidden by the large brim of the hat withdraws the protagonist from the portrait and gives her a universal and mysterious character. “The Harpist” is a scenographic and strongly material work, in which elegance, sensuality and music find a convincing pictorial synthesis.
The work is archived and viewable in permanent form on the artist's official site www.sergiozampieri.it where you can obtain further information about his artistic path.
