Camrose & Kross - Metal, "Sun King", SWAROVSKI Crystals - Brooch

A spectacular and highly distinctive three-dimensional sunburst brooch by Camrose & Kross, inspired by the iconic jewellery style of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy.
This impressive statement brooch is rhodium-plated and lavishly embellished with 211 Swarovski crystals in various sizes, creating the brilliant appearance of diamonds. The central section features a striking domed design composed of concentric circles and pavé-set crystals, surrounded by numerous elegant, radiating rays.
The design represents the sunburst motif associated with the Sun King of France, a style famously admired by Jackie Kennedy. Jackie discovered a similar sunburst brooch while shopping in London in 1961 and immediately fell in love with its distinctive design.
The brooch is particularly impressive when viewed in person: the numerous faceted crystals capture and reflect the light beautifully, creating an exceptional sparkle. It is a true eye-catcher, equally striking in daylight and under softer, lower lighting.
Jackie Kennedy famously wore sunburst jewellery in a variety of ways, including on coats, jackets, dresses and handbags, and even as a hair ornament. This versatile piece can likewise be worn as a spectacular statement accessory.
The brooch comes complete with its original blue velvet-covered presentation box and original Camrose & Kross Card. The reverse bears the JBK signature and is fitted with a secure safety closure.
