Fine Yongzheng Period Moulded Lotus-Petal Famille Rose Figural Bowl - Porcelain - China - Yongzheng (1723-1735)

Description
A high-quality, finely potted bowl of elegant lobed form — moulded into distinct lotus-petal panels rising to a flared, gilded rim and supported on three neatly shaped cloud-form feet. Each petal encloses a beautifully painted figure from historical or literary tradition, rendered in soft, luminous famille rose enamels with fluid linework and refined colouring — a hallmark of Yongzheng-era craftsmanship. The spaces between the figures are filled with delicate geometric diapered patterns in pale turquoise, creating a striking contrast against the snowy white porcelain. A piece of exceptional quality and artistic refinement.
