Description from the seller
► "Erotic Silence" – Original painting
Originales, handgefertigtes Gemälde von Daniel Witschkanow, 2026
Beschreibung:

Seller's Story
Daniel Witschkanow is a German artist with a Bachelor of Arts in Design and a particular passion for contemporary portrait painting. He early on autodidactically engaged with various painting techniques and sold his first works already at the age of 14. After completing his studies with concentrations in CGI, film and photography, he devoted himself entirely to fine art.
At the center of his work is the human being—not as a mere representation, but as a bearer of emotions, memories and inner tensions. His portraits move between figurative precision and experimental dissolution. This exact tension gives his works a distinctive expressive power and emotional depth.
A central feature of his art is the specialization in the thread technique he further developed as well as the expressive smoky technique. Through targeted use of glazes, painting media and flowing structures, unique surfaces arise where control and chance combine in impressive ways. The color seems to flow across the canvas, to hover, or to dissolve almost texturally into the motif.
Daniel Witschkanow deliberately works experimentally and combines in his works different materials and forms of expression. In addition to acrylic and glaze he also works with watercolor, oil and charcoal, giving his works additional depth, multiplicity and an unmistakable character.
Each work is a unique piece and an expression of an ongoing artistic engagement with identity, transience and the emotional complexity of the human being.
