Important and scenic sculpture depicting a seated cat, entirely made of hand-worked artistic glass.
The body features intense amber-colored glass, combined with large masses of transparent glass. The muzzle presents numerous elements applied hot: turquoise and white eyes, black nose, white whiskers and mouth red/purple.
Particularly refined is the large black bow decorated with gold inclusions, applied to the neck.
The sculpture measures about 35 cm in height and is a sizeable object, heavy and with a strong decorative presence.
For technical characteristics, colors and workmanship, the piece is compatible with the tradition of Murano artistic glass from the second half of the 20th century. Since there is no legible signature or complete label, the manufacturer is not attributed to a specific glassworks.
