With Time is Now, JonOne offers a particularly intense graphical composition, built around a powerful contrast between the deep black background and the silver traces. His instinctive handwriting almost completely fills the surface, blending rapid gestures, overlays and drips into a whole that is both raw and perfectly controlled.

Biography: JonOne (French-American, born in 1963 in New York), famous for his graffiti-influenced works, was born in the Harlem neighborhood, where the art of colorful and elaborate graffiti evolved. He began creating graffiti of his name with a childhood friend as early as age 17. In 1984, he founded the Graffiti 156 All Starz collective to bring together the passion of graffiti artists.
After moving to Paris in 1987, he began working as a painter on canvas in a studio. He quickly made a name for himself in the Parisian art circles with his canvas works, was exhibited in 1990 at Gallery 45 in Berlin and participated in the Graffiti Paris exhibition, where his work is presented permanently. His works rank among the most important auction results achieved in the graffiti world.
