This work is part of The Artphabet, an art project developed by digital artist Cess, where each letter of the alphabet pays homage to major figures in contemporary art.

The piece interprets the letter W as a direct nod to the visual universe of Tom Wesselmann, one of the leading figures of Pop Art. The composition centers on volumetric, sensual lips, iconic within his work, reinterpreted here in a three-dimensional, polished, contemporary key.

The intensely red lips, slightly ajar, become the central element of the piece, evoking the direct, provocative, and erotically charged visual language characteristic of Wesselmann. The inclusion of lit cigarettes introduces a visual narrative that harks back to pop culture, consumption, and the representation of desire in modern society.
