This is an authentic solid-bronze empty-pocket trinket dish, made in France by the CIP Art Foundry around 1900 (the Belle Époque period).
Visible authentication details:
The recessed mark: The clearly struck rectangle with the inscription “BRONZE.”
The workshop mark: The small oval punch located just above (in the recess of the upper leaf of the fleur-de-lis) corresponds to the official signature of the CIP Foundry.
The structure: The three small lugs (or feet) in relief along the rim allow the dish to rest stably on a piece of furniture.
