Artist biography:

Manuel Ventimilla Conejos is a Valencian painter, professor and cultural manager linked to contemporary art. He studied Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia from 1986 to 1991. His artistic production is characterized by plastic experimentation, abstraction, and the use of mixed media, with special interest in landscape, memory, travel, and the passage of time. Among his solo exhibitions are Vuelve a Ítaca (1994), A propòsit, sobretot, del concepte temps (1997), presented at the UNESCO Hall in Alcoy, and Referencias (1998), held at the Sala de la Muralla in Valencia.

Alongside his painting activity, he developed a career in Valencian cultural management. He was director of Sala Parpalló of the Valencia Provincial Council and collaborated with the Museu Valencià de la Il·lustració i de la Modernitat (MuVIM), participating in the organization and coordination of exhibitions. He also taught at universities and served on juries of artistic contests, such as the Bienal de Pintura de Paterna.
